		<description>Kate, I remember the floppy disks... I was working at IBM in Research Triangle Park in 1981 when they delivered us the first batch of IBM PCs.

No hard drive. Only a single 5-1/4 floppy and 64K RAM.  And this changed the business world.  The next year we got the A/T with a HARD DRIVE (!) and this seemed like incredible SPEED...

I too have mutant ears.  Even with the earbuds you can change sizes I still have trouble.

How about those 13&quot; floppy disks . . . those stored 1/2 page of text! And you had to be worried about dust, finger prints, etc. Amazing, amazing. 

I think of stuff like this any time I hear, that can&#039;t be done. Perhaps not today, but you never know about tomorrow.
