Have you ever analyzed why you have a few good days in a row or a few bad days in a row?
I’m always trying to find the things that worked, however small they might be. Our mood rises and falls, but why?
If I feel lethargic, I ask myself if I’ve been eating healthy and exercising.
If I feel down, I ask if I’ve been social, productive, or focused.
If I feel terrific, I try to identify the source of my momentum.
What have you noticed in the past? Is your vocabulary negative? Is your entertainment uplifting?
Is your body language already telling you something you’ve forgotten?
What works for you nowadays?
Just keep plugging and being grateful for each day!

More often then not I’m solutions oriented like you. I only keep my attention on the problem long enough to gather information. Think like this does not let me focus on the bad for to long.

No sense dwelling on the bad or the good too long, just keep movin’

Definately want to look at the positive side of things.
Can’t dwell on things, just let it go and move on.
Thanks for the thought provoking post.

Fine quote from Lombardi.
In the past week or so I have discovered that frustration seems to take my edge off. Have to watch and deal with that.
For me:
lethargic => have a coffee (yikes!), go for a walk, or go to bed
down => smile, go to gym, or listen to Muse
feel terrific => anchor it, anchor it, and anchor it again!

I try to monitor my feeling and performance as well. For me sales has always been about energy, having enough to outlast and out perform my competition. This means watching my diet, especially lunch to avoid those post-lunch tired periods and my activity levels.

In fact, with speaking for 4 hours and standing on my feet in (fabulous!) high heels Saturday, I made a point of nutrients replenishing today with protein and greens. And I have it on my eating list for tomorrow to eat extra greens and get in a good work out to destress and rebuild.
Excellent points!

I can smile my way through anything. If ever I get stressed I check out my diet since not eating regularly affects my mood. The more raw fruits and vegetables I eat the better I feel.

Most of my days are good. If I feel like I’m having a “bad” day, I try to reframe whatever is bringing me down and that usually works.

Dwelling on the positive. Analyzing why I feel negative when I do, for the purpose of determining if my less than chipper mood is “legitimate” (most of the time it’s not). Generally, I reject negative moods b/c there’s generally no reason to feel negatively.

I usually let go of the bad. Holding on only supresses the issue and it resurfaces later to deal with again.

I find affirmations said regularly every day help. I have about 6 total I integrate into my waking up and going to bed routines.
I find that for me TV is a metal drain, so I have no TV in my house. I don’t mean one that’s there but turned off. There is not TV.
Besides the mental relief it gives me I don’t have a bill that approaches $1,000.00 a year.

A smile can ideed pick up your day, so too can the right foods. I understand that diet can play a role in your moods.

I have had those string of good and bad days. When I have the bad days, it usually is an issue of whether not I feel like I am doing all that I can to take up the space I’m currently in.
