Useful tips from Paul McKenna

Somebody passed this useful information along to me…. It’s an excerpt from one of Paul McKenna’s audio books. 

I’m paraphrasing, but check out his site for more info

You always get more of what you focus on.

Any large task can be broken down into smaller chunks.

Check responses from others, and rephrase your communication for better results.

Act on your goals with tenacity.

Be prepared for at least 10 obstacles for any 1 difficult endeavor.                       ~Paul McKenna

  1. I always try to break large tasks down into smaller chunks. I do that for my kids alot or else they are overwhelmed. Great post.

  2. Realising in advance that obstacles are part of the path towards something worthwhile makes their arrival far less daunting.

    And I’m a huge fan of making sure that, whatever your goal, you’re making some step in its direction – however small.

    I realised when I wrote my book that you can’t really write a book. You can write each day though, and after a period of time you find that a book is the thing you now have.
