Yankees have me in a New York state of mind…

What can I say?  I’ve lived 18 years in New York, then 6 years in Philadelphia.  The Yankees won the World Series over the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies in 6 games.  Tens of millions of fans watched baseball, even here in Hermosa Beach, CA, fans were hooked.   I went to Yankee Stadium with my Dad, and remember the utter confidence of the players.  The Mets, too.  Growing up in the suburbs of New York City allowed me scenic roads and a train ride away from urban paradise.   There is so much culture in New York, from the International Auto Show, to the Empire State Building, and the subways through Manhattan.  I’m going back home November 18-24th, and would love to meet up with you if you’re around.

The Yankees Win!     New York wins cultural victory.  On to the next- football….

  5. Hi Greg,
Go Yankees! Watching Mariano walk out onto the field in game 6 gave me goose bumps… Ok, perhaps a little beyond the norm but we are watching a living legend.

So after that, if you still want to meet me in New York, send me an email or something of the sort and we will figure it out. If you are too busy, then perhaps next time around.
